Training

Seminars

Never stop exploring, never stop learning, never stop learning by doing! This is our main motivation in designing and implementing various training opportunities where we all learn together. One from the other, one for the other and all for Heritage. Whether a short seminar, an internship or an intensive project workshop, we create small nuclei of enthusiastic people who learn while protecting and safeguarding specific heritage case studies. And all along, while underlining and concentrating on the special characteristics of every monument, we promote the interaction and integration of our training project with the local community, this being the key for the sustainability and continuity of our efforts.

Project Workshops

How many job profiles are part of a heritage project? Where does the expertise of one complete the other? Training through small scale complete projects, namely, interdisciplinary project-based workshops, offers a unique possibility to comprehend all the different tasks of a complete heritage project. Having the opportunity to apply theoretical skills in action, heritage professionals learn from one another, broaden their expertise and open new working dialogues of communication. Project-workshops are a unique adventure. The curriculum is each time formulated by an international team of lecturers and in such a way as to meet the needs of the monument itself, yet always in consideration of the community needs too. So far we have had lecturers and participants from 36 countries, each of them leaving his unique mark on the hearts of the hosting communities.

Internships

Share the Vision. Take action in Interaction and join the team! You have done it! You have studied or are still studying in the breathtaking Heritage field! Yet you still have a feeling that you need to understand how things work from inside. Why not apply for your internship in our interactive family? Through our activities we offer opportunities to young professionals interested in heritage for gaining experience. All internships are associated with DIADRASIS’ activities and could be focused on research, project management or for university collaborations. The programme is open to candidates worldwide.
