The project

The project "Path of the Muscat Vineyards" involves the collection and documentation of cultural landmarks and oral histories for the promotion of the thematic trekking path of vineyards in Samos. Specifically, to promote the village of Vourliotes and the surrounding area following the project assignment by the Social Cooperative Enterprise of Paths of Greece.

The research started focusing on the Art of viticulture and be given the path to a digital record from Paths of Greece. With these facts, the scientific team of diadrasis defined the following thematic (Mythology, Archeology, Elements of Modern Culture), which can create the cultural narrative of the timeless tradition of Viticulture. Followed bibliographic research to prepare the on-site research that followed. Six key questions were prepared for on-site research to facilitate interviews by local residents. The on-the-spot research took place between 31/5 - 3/6/2019, during which 15 interviews took place. The interviewees were very hospitable and friendly and willing to share the stories of their place and their personal experiences. Diadrasis recorded, with their consent, all the interviews, ensuring a rich audiovisual archive for the research needs.
