What exactly does a conservator of antiquities and works of art do to safeguard our monuments? Which monument do you go by every day without knowing the secrets behind it?

Through Syntiriti will get to know important landmarks and their secrets. Syntiriti is not a race. We want you to have fun, learn about conservation and the history behind the landmarks. The winning team will be the one that visited all the landmarks and get to the finish line after 2 hours. Keep in mind that those being creative will be awarded too after a photographic task - competition. Several routes are designed so each team to follow a "personalized" one. In order to start, you have to solve a riddle that leads you to the first stop. Once you get to the stop you will have to solve a second riddle, the "conservation" riddle. Last but not least, you will have to fulfill an interactive task, unlocked with your answer to the conservation riddle. The aim is to get to know the conservators that wait for you, talk with them and discover the fascinating work of conservators

12/9/2019 Syntiri...ti; is back digitally updated

After your request to Syntiriti is back fully updated. On October 12, in the frame of celebration for the European Conservation Day of Cultural Heritage, ICOM Conservation Committee and DIADRASIS conquered the roads again to familiarize the audience with the work of conservators and artists on the monuments of Athens. The route is the same but smaller, digitally updated and eco - friendly. The University of West Attica designed an online platform to support the treasure hunt. Those didn't play Syntiriti form a team, download the application and join us!
